VideoToSize is built so a video does not have to visit our server to get smaller.
Probe and encode run on your computer with a bundled or system ffmpeg. We do not receive the file. The current trial counter is a small JSON file in the app data folder on that machine.
The encoder (ffmpeg.wasm) loads into this tab and reads the file you picked. The video is not posted to videotosize.com. The encoder script may be fetched from a public CDN.
The site is static pages. We may later add privacy-respecting analytics (page views, not videos). Payment providers, when enabled, will see your email and charge — not your footage.
